Foo - All hail jsharr - the new snowy.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well, with snowy being separated from her computer, a new mod was inevitable. So, once again, they went down to Dallas to recruit. :D
jsharr - congratulations! You'll have to fill us in on the wild mod parties you have with Jon and Marty. ;)

Congrats on your new gig! Are you going to buy a new Mercedes-Benz with the extra money you'll be making? :D
Welcome to the party jsharr.
On a side note, Blue Jays, did I see you posting on one of the crotch rocket forums? Same name and same posting style.
Thanks guys. I am going to see if I can get a white star in a blue field. Looks so much better. And comparing me to Snowy is just oh so wrong on so many levels. What did that woman do to deserve such a harsh comparison?

LowCel...riding on two wheels is what I love to do! As much as I enjoy my motorcycle...it's been getting infrequent use because of the overwhelming percentage of "leisure time" my bicycles are garnering.
Congrats on your new gig! Are you going to buy a new Mercedes-Benz with the extra money you'll be making? :D
I heard Jeff was eyeing an Ellingsworth!!
Congrats jsharr.

I don't think it is going to work - after all, there is nothing moderate about jsharr....
Heh, heh, heh... Just goes to show how easily decieved the administration is.
They'll make anyone a mod. Including me! :roflmao:

Usually mods are created because someone didn't say no quick enough. The job of a moderator requires someone with infinite patience, the wisdom of Soloman and is willing to work cheap (REALLY CHEAP). For this, you receive the gratitude of the sane people who know what it is like.
I would thank you jsharr - but I am just not that sane... (honest, thank you all you mods for a hard job well done!)

Glad to see it go to someone very helpful ~ good luck with it. Depending on the subject, Modding a forum takes a real consistent committment, and you are to be commended. I'm trying myself to find the time to do this in another forum I'm planning...

To be fair, it's his son that does all the work. I hear Jeff just does the holding and fetching while the kid types witty retorts!
Smart kid, he must take after his mother.
Congrats on the job, lil' buddy!
thanks ya'll I think. Vega, do you kiss people with that mouth? BTW has anyone seen the Bud Light Swear Jar commercial? It is genius and reminded me of Vega above.

Yes, it's true, they'll make anyone a mod these days.
But just like his riding, Jsharr will farm out his moderating work to a 13 year old Pakistani kid. ;)

I don't see the point of wanting to be a mod. Is it some kind of power play? It seems like work to me. I guess if it gets you out of cutting the grass or something like that.
Wait, there is no grass in Texas.
Be quiet Fred or I will put Mabarak on the bike with team orders to do the crushing of your soul. Not even Motorcycle Greggo can drop Mabarak when he is in soul crushing mode.

Wait, there is no grass in Texas.
Much easier to dig shallow graves that way. I go around Texas whenever I head west. Or jsharr's ego, whichever one is smaller that given day.
Now that you're a mod, you can't lock me in the trunk of the car anymore, suckaa!
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAAH!
I guess I can tell you now. There has always been an emergency release on the trunk. You could have gotten out anytime you wanted. Sadly, I am pretty sure you knew this.:D

Heh. That means they'd never tap me since I'm on, yeah, go ahead and say it: dialup.
Hey, wait a minute! If I'm on, yeah, go ahead and say it, dialup, I might not be able to upload "No" quickly enough!
<slinkin' quickly away to hide from ban and possible recruitment>
I had that whole great-disturbance-in-the-Force feeling again, and now I know why...
Congrats, jsharr!  :bday:

Congrats to Jsharr, Kemmer, Lecterman, and Voltman!
<is there a downside to sucking up to the new moderators?>
The Foo swear jar is the same as the Bud Swear Jar. This is not kid friendly and may not be work friendly. All the swearing is implied and beeped out, but still, watch with caution.
