The Scenic Gorge (eous) TT -
Sat on 320w or so for just under 49 minutes, good enough for 78th in the pro 1/2 field. Nathan O'Neill beat me by 8 minutes.
Oddly enough using the 7:1 dog/human year ratio gets me close to where I actually finished in the 3's, 9th. Move my game piece up 4 spots to 9th overall, field is down from the original 100 to 81 starters.
Probably the prettiest TT scenery ever, too bad all the sweat, snot, and slobber obscured my view.
Today we do the same race as the NRC pros, 86 miles, 9000 feet of climbing. Down 1:56 to the leader who just smoked the TT, but less than 60 seconds difference between 3-10th places, which ought to make for some interesting tactics.
Talked to the organizers about yanking off a second per year of age but no dice :( Hey, it was worth a shot.
