I keep my Trek 460 in my office for those spontaneous little urges. So I have begun telling my secretary about the advantages of riding a good lightweight road bike as opposed to the heavy, old mountain bike she has been riding the past several years. I told her to watch out for one at garage sales. She has.
So I get this call from her cell phone while she was at a garage sale looking at this Trek 330 (t). I told her that if she bought it for the 20.00 asking price and didnt like it that I would buy it for double (at least). She bought and brought it to the office.
I tuned it for her, trued the rims enough to tighten the pads up (with a warning to not grab quickly, tightly) and gave it a general once over.
She loves the bike. I have won a convert.
