If yes, which model do you ride?
I tried a SWB and was definitely for someone 5'8 max.
TIA
You'll get a better answer from others, but I am sure there are SWB's out there for you tall ones. Well I am not 100 percent sure but ... ... ... ... ... .. .. .... ... ... .
I'm 6'3". Have a Bacchetta Corsa and have had to modify the Euromesh seat for my size. The re-curve seats out there don't fit me well. Here's what I've done: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=294420
I know Velokraft has some nice carbon seats for us tall folks. You might check those out here: http://bentupcycles.com/itemdetails.cfm?catalogId=39&id=438.
Let me know what you come up with. I only know of Velokraft making the taller seats. I'm sure there are others, I just can't get an answer from the forum on who else does.

I'm 6'4 and have ridden: HP Velotechnik Speedmachine, Vison R64, Reynolds T-Bone, Bacchetta Strada, Optima Baron. All are SWB (well, the T-Bone is a very l o n g SWB) and with the correct size frame and seat they have all been an excellent fit. I feel that taller riders especially benefit from recumbents because it's difficult to get a good DF fit if you have a long torso (I do). Also, it gets all your height out of the wind.

I've got an actionbent jet stream II(with USS) and it fits me pretty well. I'd never ridden another hardshell seat until today(a baron) and apparently my seat is a bit too short for me but it's never been an issue(still isn't). I'm 6'5 and the boom is all the way out anymore and it probably wouldn't be safe. But all the same, it fits.
I too have a long torso with normal legs(32" inseam fits a little long in pants).
good luck!

One of my riding buddies is 6'7" and hasn't had any problems on the 3 bents he owns. He does have 200 MM cranks though!
I am 6'4" 200# have successfully owned and comfortably ridden Corsa, Stratus, and Windcheetah. others as well, that are now out of production. I have fit onto bents where too much of my weight was over the rear wheel, causing some interesting, and potentially dangerous handling. Even though the Corsa was a large frame, I still had low speed heel strike and problems on steep hill with the front getting light if the seat was too reclined. I am happiest on the trike and no longer bent ride on two wheels

Oh well. I guess this SWB was not my size.
Thanks for all the replies.
All of the bikes I sell will fit someone who is 6'3". I should know, I'm 6'4"! ;) You'll find that pretty much any recumbent out there should fit you, either via an extendable boom, or by selecting the right size (large, I guess).
6'4" on a Volae Expedition SWB. Its the largest frame they offer and I'm quite comfortable.

I am 6'7" with a 36" inseam and I sit just fine on a Bacchetta Corsa. With 175 mm cranks the seat has another 10 mm it can go back. Before this bike I rode a Burley Hepcat. That too had enough leg room.
