Mountain Biking - Replacing Shimano with SRAM chain.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. My 9 speed Stumpjumper FSR Comp came with an HG73 Shimano chain, but a few links are a little out of whack. I also cleaned it and upon installing it again I bent a link as well. So I'm off to buy a new SRAM with a Powerlink ... can I get any 9 speed SRAM chain or is there an equivalent model to the HG73?
Thanks!
Yeah, there's deffinitely an equivalent chain. But I like SRAM better just for the powerlink... just pic whichever chain is in the same price range. There's not a huge difference between a high end chain and a low end chain.. pick something in between.

Yes SRAM makes several 9 speed chains. Cheap to $$
ok so any 9 speed chain and then take off enough links to match it to my chain now? The main reason I want the powerlink thing is because I like to take the chain off to clean it.
btw ... you guys are fast! thanks.
SRAM's PC59 is good, reliable and not overly expensive.
I have a PC99... got it as a gift.
