Wondering if anyone else was planning to do the Patuxent Rural Legacy Ride.
Saturday June 9. Starts 7 am to 9 am at the Merkle Wildlife Center.
Supported ride by the Oxon Hill Bike Club.
24, 46 and 62 mile options.
Goes thru the farm country in eastern and southern Prince George county. And even though it's close to DC, the county is trying to keep development out of this area.

I did the ride two years ago and had a lot of fun. Mostly nice quiet country roads with some good hills. Every time the route crosses a stream or descends to the river you have couple hundred foot elevation change. The Oxon Hill club does a good job with their rides. The rest stops had a good spread, much more than the usual banana and powerbar most clubs seem to provide.
If the weather cooperates, I plan to be there on the 62 mile route.

I was going to. I did it last year. But I decided to bail instead.
