After the last round of thunder cleared out and the streets dried out, I saddled up and headed east out of Royse City then north on fm 1777. After riding on 1777 for two miles, that nice pavement turned into some of the worst chipseal Ive rode on in a while. I didnt expect a full body massage as I was riding.
Anyway, It was mostly uphill the 5+miles up 1777 and it was east on Hwy 6 into Caddo, then turned back. I was expecting to keep a 15 mph pace, but suprised myself with a better effort.
Another great ride with it starting out cloudy and ending in sun. The last few miles were slower than I liked but I'm ready for 34 miles at the Collin Classic.

Sounds like you had a good ride. I need to check on gmap how far my ride was up till I had that front flat (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=305239)that ended my ride early.

yeah, I saw that. Sorry you couldnt get a good feel for the Gazelle. Hoprfully this rain is a goner and It's smooth riding here on out!
