I have an 80's Mangusta aluminum road bike that I would love to give to a local that could use it. Let me know where you want me to measure to ensure the size. It hasn't been ridden in at least 5 years, but it's been in a dry NM garage until now. The seat, chain, and rear derailleur cable will at least have to be replaced; as well as a tear down and re-lube. It has Shimano 1056 clipless pedals that come with some vintage Avia road shoes size 11 I believe. It rolls on a Mavic MA2 rim in the front, Weinmann rear. Tires are Continental Super sports. Suntour frame shifters with dia-compe/ Weinmann brakes. Rear derailleur is Shimano 200GS. From the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube is 60cm, and the length of the top tube measured from middle of seat post to middle of steerer tube is 57cm. Let me know.

You could donate it to these guys, they'll fix it up and find a new home for it.

If I lived a little closer (south king county) I might check that out, as that's my size. Not sure how project worthy it'd be, but there's probably someone who could use it more than me.

In Seattle the BAW and other groups have workshops where they teach troubled kids how to repair bikes - is there something like that in your area?
