I heard it on the news too, we felt nothing here. I guess the strongest registered a 1.9.

Most people wouldn't even notice a 1.9 if it happened right under their house. A truck driving down the street creates more shaking than that.

1.9 that's nothing. Out here on the West Coast, we really know how to Rock and Roll (Sylmar, Northridge, Lome Prieta...)! I'd take an earthquake over a hurricane, tornado or blizzard.

Funny...I didn't feel that but I'm currently feeling the effects each time there's a thunderclap during a strong thrunderstorm today.

A 1.9 isn't noticable usually. We have had about 4 earthquakes in three years above 5.5 here in Costa Rica. We are pretty active. Nothing to worry about, the homes are build for it.

Whoa, wait, wait, wait. It was a 1.9?

On the Richter scale?

BAHAHAHA.
