Advocacy & Safety - Online database of aggressive drivers!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Here's a website where you can document aggressive drivers and place them in some kind of database. However, I can't distinguish what this data is being used for. Judging by the name, it's people who are oriented toward keeping streets safe. Good. I saw a few other sites on the search engine which dredged this up on studying road rage, and I hope this is more than some kind of medical statistic site. I think it's not!!!

What are the legal issues of putting some guy's details on the WWW?
My heart says, "Great idea!" My head says, "Who operates this database?" and "Chris has raised a valid question." and "The license plate and vehicle description do not tell us WHO was driving at the time."
On the balance, however, I am tempted to give the site a try next time I am truly endangered or intimidated by a motorist. I do call those "How's my driving? Call 800-xxx-xxxx" numbers when truckers tailgate my car on the I-5.
