i just love the gummy walls, i know, i'm a retro grouch. but they go SO well with my tan Selle Italia Storika saddle and natural chinelli cork tape....
how do you remove the brake dust from natural sidewalls?
to prep for less brake dust accoruing, has anybody tried scotch guard 9applied witht he tire removed from the rim, mind you.)?

I used to use a product called Bleche White (think that is how they spelled it) on the raised white letters on the sidewalls of car tires. That stuff worked like a charm--I let the tires go once until you almost couldn't tell they had raised white letters, and came out like new. Don't know why it wouldn't work on bike tires, if it is still made (been a few years).
