Southern California - Back to Baldy Ride - Saturday, June 16th

Seems people tend to like that mountain quite a bit, so why not climb it again? I'm going back up on June 16th, and so far Roadfix is coming with me. Anyone else care to join???

Date: Saturday, June 16th
Time: 7:30am meet; 8:00am roll
Meet Location: Encanto Park, 751 Encanto Pkwy, Duarte
Mileage: 62 roundtrip, we will climb up Hwy 39 and Little GMR (GRR) and come back down Big GMR
Elevation: Approx. 6,500 ft
Water Stops: Two- East Fork on the way up and in Baldy Village.

Pace/Type of Ride: Baldy isn't easy, please know your level and come prepared. :o

Probably not from my camera. I'll be going lighter that weekend since GT is the following weekend, but I'll see how I feel.

Well, the original was the bloat ride, so technically this is the third in the series. And sometimes the third is a charm.

Quite possible that this might not be a ride I consider, then back out, then waffle, then flip-flop, then roll around aimlessly in a cess pool.

So maybe or not, for sure.

I'm out. It's going to be a flat month for me. It's not because i'm skeert due to the fall, just doing some base miles for a while to prep for the fall season. Plus i'm curious to see if this base training thing works.

I was thinking of doing a Crystal Lake ride that Saturday but you beat me to it.:) I usually do Little GMR on the way back ,maybe run into eachother.

As with the last two times, I'll show interest but quite possibly end up bailing.

1st time: I think I was co-hosting the ride, but I bailed because PGS decided to visit on that day.
2nd time: It was an outside shot, and work made it impossible.
3rd time: Is the third time the charm?
