You could always post under the new help_me name is you can't recover the linux_author one. Good luck with your quest.

Indeed. It's been fixed. I sent you an apology.

All capital letters and multiple exclamation points in sentences can oftentimes appear as SPAM when read quickly. My suggestion would be a more traditional format of sharing information to see if that helps.

Actually, it was a common mistake on behalf of one of the new moderators. He will be teased mercilessly for it until the very end of time as we know it. Or next week, when someone else does it.

Dammit, I was just gonna start a FREE LINUX_AUTHOR! thread, so we could play with some new sockpuppets, but now cuz of your whining, you ruined all my fun. :p

- WoW! tks for the support, dude!
(it feels *really* good to be back!)
:-)
p.s. to the mods: you can now delete the username 'help_me' from BF ... i *think* linux_author is good for at least the next 31 years (IIRC the original registration agreement)...
Well, at least it wasn't me that did it this time. :D
By the way, good job on getting the problem noticed as quickly as possible. If (when) this happens to someone you can also pm a few of us mods to let us know it happened. Of course, it will have to be done with a new user name. It's an inconvenience but nothing that can't be taken care of fairly quickly.
Good to have ya back linux......now behave! ;)
Damn those new mods, always screwing things up. *shrug*

We were going to fire him over this one, but ridiculing was more fun.
