Yea pretty much. They pulled everything about him from their website before the Giro.

I was just looking for a while but couldn't find it...aparently Tinkoff was pretty ticked off especially with Hamilton and there is a quote out there some place about him not only being suspended but pretty much booted from the team.

Yea, i went to the website and saw no information about him where they had the rider profiles.
That sucks because i was looking forward to seeing him race this year.

I thought you got fired from Tinkoff if you HADN'T been caught doping. :D

His post on his website is ridiculous, he keeps going on about how suprised he was to be excluded from the Giro.

Wouldn't Tinkoff already have been aware of something before these guys signed on?

Of course. And Hamilton and Tinkoff knew the deal going in. Hamilton was going to get a chance, (Tinkoff the publicity) as long as nothing popped up. But once something popped up, Hamilton is required to accept any decision by Tinkoff, which most likely would be "What, Hamilton doped? No way?

See Basso and Disco for another play on this arrangement.

Stick a fork in him, he's done (and watch out for the blow back if he's looking like that these days).

Well - maybe or maybe not. I think it was pretty clear he was clean this year, and his performances were dreadful. The fact that he was kicked off of the squad could very well be because of the combination of his past doping resurfacing with the OP deal and his absolutely average performances. The fact is, Tyler himself may have realized that at his age, riding clean he may not have it and decided himself to quietly step down to save face.

Tyler should have checked his ego at the door and attached to a smaller American team where he could have competed.
