Hey guys, I am looking to sell my Trek 520 2001 (25") but I have no idea what it is worth. If you could tell me what you think would be a good price to sell it for I would really appreciate it!

This bike only has 300 miles (1 trip) on it and everything is stock. This bike is, however, a little banged up. Nothing serious, just normal scratches. Nothing is rusted and it is still in great working condition. From searching on the net it seems like this bike is rare in used and good condition. So here are the pics I took:

That is a rusty chain :)

I don't know about the rarity of the 520. I see them come up on ebay and craigslist a fair amount. It is a stock Trek bike that has been sold by them for decades.

haha yeah, It just needs a little oil. And maybe im wrong about the bike being rare, but what would you think would be a good price for resale?

It is really hard to say. I saw a 520 that was in the same age range on Craigslist for $350 (I almost bought it myself)

And I have seen them go for $600+ on ebay.
