I'm heading to Hamilton in October, and was wondering if anyone could offer some insight. The tickets for the races are fairly expensive, and I would like to know if there's any way I can view these races without paying.

I'm sure there will be plenty of places to see for free - but you might have to camp out to get them. The Canadian Road National Championships are on here this weekend as a sort of test for October and so far attendance figures have been very impressive (I'm going to ride downtown in an hour or so to watch some) - (It's on CBC TV next Saturday July 5 at 2:00 pm) and everyone seems to think it's all going very well.

Parts of the course are on residential streets, I don't see how they can seal off those entire areas, but you never know.
I've volunteered to help out in October, but haven't heard yet what I'll be doing - I doubt I'll be in a position to let all BF members in free!

i was going to post the site..lol but i see it in the signature above me..
i was there .. very hectic but lucky for me a customer of mine lives on scenic dr. and i got his lawn to sit on to watch :D
still a little too crowded for my liking. you can talk to Steve Bauer in nigara falls, he has organized tickets and tours for the worlds.
he might even throw in a wine tour if ya tip him right ;) jk. but they are fun!
crits at the CHIN picnic on july first...now that should be interesting.
