Great Lakes - Another question about LBS

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm buying my first Road bike, I went to Emerys and Wheel & Sprocket, found a bike Trek 2100. They both met on price, anyone have any pros or cons for either place?
I've got good and bad experiences with both of them. Frankly I've found that the Delafield W&S is the best, although I know one of the employees at the North Shore store. Emerys is a nice place too. Ultimately, there are good people and bad people at all stores.

Brents a nice guy really cares about the business he is in. He always hasa nice selection of
bikes and used ones to. Wheel and sprocket use to be like that but some where along
the line when they grew in size customer service dropped off. I know my next bike will be from
emerys or crank daddys, ah maybe cory the bike fixer , hell maybe I will try my hand at building my
own.
