Tried to remember my old sign-on information, but it's been a few years since I've been on this site :( Decided to give it another try! :P

It's been awhile, and I'm finally back on the road! Got a bike - not my dream one mind you, but it's not bad at all. Now I'm trying to get back to my pre-lapse condition. I think it may take awhile :)

I'm in the Columbus area and tend to ride more during the morning/early afternoons on weekdays (until I find a new job) and on weekends (depending on other plans). If anyone's interested in joining me for some rides give me a holla. Be warned - I am not up for long distance speed, but don't mind riding distances :) Once I buy a road bike, that will change!

Hello BikeGirrl, don't forget us this time, please! What kind of bike have you got in mind to replace your current one?

Check out the Great Lakes regional forum for locals in the Columbus area, and good luck.

Welcome to BF!

I'm not sure what I'll be getting next. More than likely it will be a road bike. I've been browsing around but won't get anything new until this fall or next spring. Damn money! :) If only I had unlimited funds.

Craigslist! Or thrift shops occasionally. If you can find a BF member in your area (especially one of us nuts over at the Classic & Vintage forum, you may be able to get a decent working bike for less money. Unless, or course, you have your mind set on a NEW bike :) .

I don't need a new bike, just one that's in good shape and fits me. :) If I had money, I'd buy new. Alas, I'm only making an average income, so used is good! I'll have to check out CraigsList. If I can find something cheap enough, I might be able to buy my next bike sooner than expected. Then all I'll have to worry about is where to store it when I'm not riding :P

There are plenty of suggestions depending on your circumstances (apartment?). I have 12 bikes, so storage isn't quite as much of an issue (but 12 is the limit :D ).

Yes, I'm in an apartment. Bikes are taking over :) Between my old ones and my new one, the kids bikes and normal apartment furnishings, well, it's getting a little crowded. 12 Bikes?! That's awesome. Maybe someday....
