Anyone need me to pick up anything while I'm out?

How about a new bike, just one more, please.

Yes. Would you get me a life. My wife keeps hearing me cackling over the computer and thinks I'm taking more drugs than The Weak Link.

I'd like a package of those generic always save peanut butter sandwich cookies please. Always remember, if it's not yellow and black, put it back!

Please keep that to yourself. TWL is my supplier! I don't want him arrested!

(Ahem) Would you be so good as to pick me up a bottle of Carter's Pills? I seem to be running a bit low...

Thanks, DG. Here's what I need....

- some salmon, the wild, not farm grown variety
- whole wheat spaghetti
- multi-grain bread
- soy milk
- a package of Boston lettuce & another of spinach
- Qt. of extra virgin olive oil
- gallon of ruby red grapefruit juice
- half-gallon of 2% milk
- 2 containers of plain yogurt

My family physician would be so surprised to see this list.... now what I really want...

- chocolate - it can be chocolate anything... I don't really care. Oh, but dark chocolate is better
- blueberry pie (of course)
- a few juicy rib-eye steaks

BTW, thanks for asking!

One set of climbing legs, please. And please make sure they are a matched pair! The set I'm currently using aren't all that great for climbs (but good at outrunning dogs!), and one is a bit shorter than the other. And while you're at it, how about a set of lungs with extra capacity.

I'm going to do a century tomorrow. Could you pick me up some sausage patties, biscuit mix and gravy packets?

Nice of you to offer DG. If I knew you were going all the way east, you would have done me a big favor. I already placed my order on line with Brands Cycle. Thanks.

Could you pick up some feminine supplies? I don't need them, but it would be fun to have you tell us about it. ;)

Gary,

How about a winning lottery ticket? Then I'll buy you a new bike every year.

Okay, I'm back. Got everybody what you asked for, so please come quickly and pick it up. The pantry's rather overflowing at the moment! :)

Did you use your nifty new grocery rack?
Your grocery bill may climb from this cool add on...:D

You actually went, DG? I always thought you sent the houseboy.

It was dark, I don't have lights, and I was askeered to ride at night. :)

Thanks, but I just went shopping myself

Got some grapefruit juice, some smoked bacon and goats cheese to have with pesto over tagliatelli ( buying bacon here gives a delightfully illicit thrill)

Oh yeah, and I picked up the tandem with a new cassette on my new wheelset e-bayed all the way from Denver

And one other thing - what was it now - oh yes, I bought a yamaha ttr dirt motorcycle from a chap who's moving back to europe

So I think that's enough shopping for the moment, thanks all the same

A couple of handfulls of 'common sense' would be good thanks. I keep messing about with these strange, two wheeled contraptions that litter my dining room. Darned expensive they are - they seem to need more attention than wimmens, though I must admit that the average lbs is a lot more interesting than the average 'wimmen's accessories counter'.

now, do I ride the tourer tomorrow, or the mtb. Nah, I'll finish the brakes on the fixie and ride that :D

You weren't long!!! Didn't pick up the thread till it was too late so can you go again? I'm feeling peckish so a couple of Buns would not go amiss right now.
