Make sure you ride EAST...otherwise, it'll be a pretty short trip.

ps. Unless drunken pics and Topeka, Kansas hotty shots are posted, the ride didn't really happen.

Everyone can check on the progress of George and Rick through this link (http://www.teambeatcancer.blogspot.com/). We will be completing updates as often as the schedule allows (hopefully that will be daily) and there should be photos and possibly video. However, there will not be any drunken revelry because none of us can drink while we are heading out there, but I will make sure that some photos from the finish line are posted!

Also, we will be doing daily audio broadcasts that will be posted here (http://www.thefredcast.com/).

Thank you for posting this Josh. I'm back up in the OC for now, then back in SD again for prep and meetings tomorrow. I have to say that whenI was down at the pier in Oceanside yesterday, I got chills when I saw the RAAM sign and walked into the RAAM Headquarters. As we picked up our light bar I spent some time talking to the new race owners and wow...I'm getting so excited now! What an adventure this will be and we can't wait to have all of you with us there in spirit.

Please feel free to email us along the way at teambeatcancer@yahoo . com (take out the spaces) and to visit our blog that we will be updating daily. I've slacked on it the past couple of days, but for good reason...I've been running around like crazy tying up loose ends.

Thank you for the support everyone! I'm sure that George will chime in...he's swamped as this is his last day at work and I just keep calling him and asking to take care of little things. He'll be happy when he can just ride his bike across the country. ;)

oh and did you read the "bottom line" in the tech review?

want to shoot a lot of romantically lit scenes, look no further than Sony's top-of-the-line single-chip Handycam

Hey Extort you think I could borrow this thing when we get back?

Ok but seriously, thank you all for your support, money and product. I will need your well wishes all the way. It's great the way you have all welcomed me into your circle. Thank you. I will do my best.

Congrats and have a great ride. This is such a huge undertaking and it's truly amazing the time and effort you've all put into this (especially George, or course).

What was that electronic gadget that's hooked up to George's legs? One of those Bruce Lee things that shocks the muscles?
