I know I'm a little late :)

I was there last year, and I'll be there again this year, along with my son, my wife, and my mom. You can find us sucking down coffee every morning at the Café Campesino tent.

good times! I'll be there as well, this time with my wife & my brudder :)

I, too, frequent Campesino...I can't get enough of their ice coffees.

I was just looking at the website!

Im hecka interested but none of my friends bike and I'm not in biking shape right now. 2009 seems like a good year to try. Is BRAG a good thing for solo people to go on?

Yeah, you'll find people your speed and you'll get to know a bunch of people really well on the trip. It's a superfun time and there should be plenty of bikeforumers who you can meet up with.

In terms of biking-shape, there are some REALLY REALLY slow riders that go. You'll be A-OK. It's actually more fun when it's an epic challenge and you end up completely wasted at the end.

I'll be there with my (un)usual crew, Team Occisus Via.

Maybe next year they will have BRAG in the mountains. That would be nice.

The years they have gone through North Georgia have been my favorites, but tend to get the lowest turnout. 2002 was the best imho.

Good, keeps the fat people away.

I didn't do 2002 but I did 1995, which before 2002, was the last time they had it in the mountains. It rained really bad that year. We got record cold weather at that time of the year. Yet it was one of the most memorable BRAG's I have ever been on.

They ought to have it in the mountains every two years or something.

Yeah, I liked '95 too. I remember one cold night in Ellijay, but I was prepared and had no trouble. I've got nothing against fat people riding. Good for them.:thumb: Just as many thin people wimp out in fear of climbing hills. Whiny people are the ones who should stay home.

They already did. It's from Rome to Augusta. Should be a good route, I guess.
