Hey guys I finally finished building my second Fixie. This project was so much fun I have mixed feelings about being done. I guess the only thing to do is start building another FG....

I plan on riding this bike on RAAM 2007 and at the Furnace Creek 508 2007.

Thank you to Andy at Ben's Cycle and Fitness without your consult I wouldn't know the first thing about building a fixie.

Thank you to Rocky, at Nytro, the best mechanic in the business, for helping me realize my fixed gear dreams.

Very cool setup, George. Fixed gear riding is where it's at! Love those fenders!

How do you decide which of the bikes to ride during RAAM?

if you look at the time stations http://www-archive.raceacrossamerica.org/files/raam2007/route/RAAM07TSstatsRev2.pdf

I have catogorized the time stations in four categories.

Purple (my favorite color) is for sections with more than 4,000 feet of climbing.
Red for more than 2k but less than 4K
Yellow more than 1K but less than 2K
Green for less than 1K of climbing

I will probably use my FG on sections Green and Yellow weather conditions are also a consideration.
The P3 will also be used for Green and Yellow sections
Red and Purple are for my Soloist.

That's the plan anyway...

Sweet! Was the frame anodized at the same time as the fenders? They look to be an exact match.
