As I was driving down the interstate on my recent road trip, we passed a "gang" of motorcycles. This got me thinking...hmmm...why couldn't there be a cycling gang that cruises the country side creating havoc and mischief?

I jotted down a few possible gang names that day. (All in light of the Hell's Angels)

- Satan's Pedals
- The Demon Deraileurs
- Cycles of Doom

and that's just the beginning...

The Hell's Pedalers
The Shaven Satans
The Dark Jerseys
The Cycling Sinners

Can you imagine getting your a$$ kicked by a bunch of shaven men?

Too late!

This reminds me of a local news story from a couple of days ago that I meant to report here. A "bike-by" (my term) shooting. Seems that two guys on bicycles rode up to someone, and one of them shot and killed him!

There IS a "bicycle gang" in my neighborhood- a bunch of shftless high-school guys who wear baggy shorts, smoke a lot of pot, and all ride around on dual-sprung department store ATB's. They make a mess behind the convenience store, ride through the local park flowerbeds, break empty bottles everywhere, and generally ride like sociopaths. I see similar "gangs" in MOST towns, too.
