Hi,
I have started getting pain in the groin when riding. It happens when I
am putting some effort into it.

I think I may have piled on the weight too fast in the gym. It also could have something
to do with hauling crap in the yard.

Another detail is that when i added a Bagman ( it attaches to the saddle rails) it pushed the saddle
out of the ideal position. I can get a different seapost, I don't think this is a cause, but it might help
with the recovery.

very annoying...

Don't compromise seat position, it can affect everything from your efficiency to groin, knee pain/injury. I found out the hard way when a high saddle caused a sprained groin muscle-very painful (and worriesome). You'd be surprised at how a slight adjustment can make a big difference.

Well, that's it. No more yard work.

Seriously, another vote to investigate the saddle position change first. And, if you think you've piled on weight in the gym too fast, you're probably right.
