Well, I'm a 53 year old geezer that's been riding since '95. I ride primarily road and have a Trek 5900 with D/A, using a Bontrager carbon compact crank (50x36) and a 12x27 on the back. I've also recently purchased a Lemond Fillmore single speed/fixie (42x18 single speed and 42x16 fixed) that I'm just loving. I just completed my 11th consecutive California AIDS ride which goes from SF to LA in seven days in June of every year. To mix things up a bit, I did it this year on the Lemond (I've had it for a month or so) and I am a true believer on the benefits riding a single speed/fixed gear config. I will be riding it a lot more now!
I've completed 20 double centuries to date and am a California Triple Crown winner for at least five years I believe. I will be only doing one double this year as I've been going though some personal changes that has thrown a monkey wrench in my double training.
I'm not a racer but just love to ride!
Check out my web site for some riding journals (including double journals) I've done in the past. I look forward to being a member here st BF.
