I Havent broken a saddle, but if you can find one with Chromo rails or Ti, it may be a better choice than Manganese IMO,

Maybe a Thompson Seatpost, on something similar that has two bolts, more of the saddle rails will be held reducing the stress on them.

just a coupple of thoughts, that may help.

That is one saddle! I'm getting one right now!:D :D

THat's a funny joke!

Seriously, it's the front part that broke, where the rail and the plastic meets. The rails are ok.

I have not broken a saddle since I was about 10 years old on a X-mart bike. Most saddles have a plastic underside so that would be the weakest point where your's broke. Which could happen to any saddle with age... You can look at the brooks saddles, if a piece actualy does break on it you can order just that part to replace it.

Kind of in the wrong forum. I'm not a track person so, I don't know on that lines, but I will say. Look into a Selle Italia Karve.

I have broken just about every saddle made. The two saddles I have now seem to be lasting the longest. One is an Avocate Ti XC(not sure if it is made any more) and the other is a Sefferes(SP) with a "THE" cover on it and Ti rails.

So, how did you break a saddle on the track? Did ya crash?
