Well I have been planning for a very busy middle to end of June for a while so I set up my racing schedule accordingly. This year it's end of April to beginning of June and then later season stuff in August-October.
So far this year I have 4 duathlons, 2 triathlons and 2 running races. I am indeed tired, but I'm racing better than I ever have before. It's amazing the level of fitness that racing will get you. I can do all the 5x3-5 mile bike workouts I want but it's never going to be the same as a 15-25 mile race. My biking has gone from top 10% to top 2-3% and my running has stayed at the top as well with some improvement in times from last year to this year.
