I have a Chrysler folder that came with 14" wheels and I'm looking for tires to replace the failure prone Duro 14" x 1.5" (40-254) tires. I think I saw somewhere that Schwalbe makes a 14" x 2" Big Apple and Kenda makes a 14" x 1.75" tire, but for the life of me I can't find a source for them online or at my LBS. Can anyone help? Thanks Dave. http://www.microcruising.com/Graphics/DSC09381r.jpg
Kent makes kids bikes for the US market that use 14" tires, so you can probably get replacement tires. You would probably either have to go to a big box store that sells Kent bikes, or special order them from your LBS.
Here's one that came up on a quick google:

Did you look at the Schwalbe site? They sell tires directly from their website.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Yes I saw the 14" kiddie lugged tires, but I'm looking for quality road tires. I did see the Schwalbe site, but wasn't aware you could order directly. In the meantime, i called a bike shop 50 miles from my house that sometimes carries Breezy folding bikes and they said they could order them for me, either the Kenya 1.75 or the Big Apples. It just a matter of making a 100 mile round trip to pick them up. I think ill call back up and see if they could mail them, which is what I was looking for in the first place.
