Hey guys i have just discovered the joy of stairs.. today I experimented and went down a 9 stair set..quite fun. How much of an accomplishment would you consider stairs? I am talking about medium/regular sized stairs. Would a large amount be a large accomplishment?

A large accomplishment would be jumping onto them and using them like a tranny. Once you get over the mental aspect of not tipping forward stairs are pretty easy. 9 or 100 they all end up being the same once your brain gets past it.
Congrats though...that is still an accomplishment. :)

That said the worst steps I have seen are only about 9 or 10 but the steps are 'maybe' 4inches deep and broken stone. You are going down very steep and fast...
Steps aren't really hard at all. Doesn't matter how many of them... as long as you're moving fairly straight, it's impossible to fall.

Jumping them is fun, but is also dangerous. Wear pads. I found out the hard way a few years ago. Jumped a large stairset, didn't make it, busted kneecap was the result.
You guys are all ******* :D j/k
I used to train with this track rider who rode his MTB *up* stairs for grins. I'll never forget the sight of him winding up and hurling himself at a flight of stairs.

:)...that is difficult...but jumping off stairs is more dangerous than going up them. Gapping stairs takes it to a whole new level as well :)
