Anyone here a DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) freak? Let me tell ya, it can sure give the legs a hearty workout, as well as the cardio.

ive seen kids do it in the mall and on TV. but i think you have to be hitting that DDR everyday and putting 110% into it. It doesnt look like it gives much cardio unless you really push yourself. plus....you might need to spend too many quarters on it.
I am not sure what DDR is, but I know one thing- I teach hip hop dance at my fitness clubs, and after a 10 minute dance routine, people are sweaty and tired- of course, it takes about 40 minutes or so to teach the full routine, and you have to backtrack to the beginning so they don't forget the routine, but those last 20 minutes of running through the routine over and over turns an interval type class into a more anaerobic activity.
Ah we can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're are no friends of mine
I say, we can go where we want to, A place where they will never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
Leave the real one far behind,
and we can dance

I dunno, my training is also about enjoying God's beautiful scenery and having peace and quite time to think through problems. I somehow don't think I'd get that when dancing to a TV screen.

i go to arcade decently often, but never have i tried the ddr machine. too many kids always crowded around it, and i'd probably just trip and fall any way. i'll stick to the racing and shooting games (me likes thoses).
