Been laxed in posting local ride opportunities.
There are still 12 spaces open for this Saturday's Intermediate Mountain Bike ride. The ride will be at an easy pace with plenty of stops to re-group. Depending on the group, the ride typically covers 10 to 15 miles.
On July 7th we will be doing the Advanced ride which typically covers 20+ miles with fewer stops and at a fairly steady pace, and include some mildly technical trails.
Basically both intermediate and advanced rides take place each month, and once per quarter we have a epic ride that covers 40 miles with 7,000 feet of climbing, some hike-a-bike, and some technical trails.
The next epic ride takes place on September 29th. Right now it is wide open, but it fills up fast.
All of these docent led rides are free but require pre-registration.
Just visit www.irvineranchlandreserve.org/activities (http://www.irvineranchlandreserve.org/activities) to sign up for a ride.
See ya on the trails
