Hi all,
I will be at a conference in Denver for a week in July. From what I can tell in the itinerary, I will be spending most of my time in the downtown are. I was hoping to rent a bike and go for some rides while i'm there.
Any suggestions for where I can rent the bike and where I can find some (not too hilly) trails to go for 20-30 mile rides?
Thanks a bunch.

The REI flagship store is downtown, and I *think* they rent bikes. You can leave from the store and take either the Cherry Creek Trail down to the Cherry Creek Reservoir and back, or north or south on the Platte River Trail. Neither of which involves climbing, and for downtown/urban MUPs, they are pretty scenic. --Especially around Wash Park ;)
EDIT: the REI store does not rent bikes. But this place does: http://www.bicycledr.com/ and they're downtown. Have no idea about the shop though....

Here is a map of the trails in the Denver area. The downtown area is close to the Cherry Creek Trail and the Platte River trail, among others. REI is at Confluence Park, at the confluence of Cherry Creek and the Platte River. All of Denver is flat with rare exceptions.
