Went walking through there today in the one section there seemed to be old single track, some are passable still, some need work, but what exactly is the story with it? Didn't see anyone riding there, probably because there was a no biking sign in the area. I don't live here, so I don't know what can be done, but is there a way to open this section up to bikes?

Good call to post that in an advocacy forum. Walking paths are walking paths, if it says no bikes and you run somebody over that will:

a) make cyclists look bad
b) open you up to all kinds of liability
c) could result in criminal charges
d) make bicyclists look bad.

Heck, I am a cyclist and when I see tire tracks on a walking only path at my local park it makes me mad.

take care,

Jester
