I'm trying to talk myself into doing the XC race at Skibowl this Sunday - has anybody here done that race that can describe the course? I did a couple short track races last year, but otherwise this would be my first real XC race, and first race of any kind this year...

It's got some good singletrack at first, then a pretty big fire road climb... then down some more singletrack and a few pretty bumpy rocky downhill sections. I flatted from a sharp rock last time, so be carefull thorugh there. Overall a fun venue- good scenery! What category are you planning on racing? It's got a fair amount of climbing, but the distances aren't too bad.

Sport. I raced beginner at the PIR short track last year, and Cat 4 road.
