well a few days ago i was riding my bike around town, when i did a skid stop and the cog came off. i took it to the bike shop and they told me since my bridgestone was a converted to a fixie it was running on suicide hubs. so since i coulnt ride the bike i had my friend give me a new paint job. so while the back is apart it got me thinking about my choices that i could take. i wanted to upgrade some parts and was wondering if i buy the IRO fixed gear build kit will fixe my problem with the suicide hubs? any help would be nice. thank you

you need a fixed gear specific hub at the very least. if your wheel is crappy you may as well by one of the cheapo wheels or even wheelsets on the market. you could buy the build kit for sure.
