I'm looking for a cycling shoe with the following priorities:
1) Accepts SPD cleat (recessed)
2) Comfortable to walk in (durable when walking too)
3) Actually looks like a "normal" shoe

On bike power transfer is less important.

I like the stylings of the Adidas Cyclone:

And the 661 Launch

Anybody have these shoes? Are they walkable?

I'd go with the Adidas MTB line over the 661's from just looking at em. The 661's seem so much wider that they could be a lot flexier and not nearly as snug around the foot. I tried some Adidas El Moro's on a while ago and they felt really nice -- and very walkable -- but I've never ridden in them.

Are the Adidas shoes SPD compatible? I didn't see any pics of the sole.

I called Beyond Bikes today and asked. The guy said it was a two bolt pattern. You can see it here:

I'm using these with Eggbeaters. For $35, you can't go wrong....... Just my two cents...

I don't like the way they look. Thanks though.
