Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. can anyone handily supply the specs for the 018 bullhorns? the only distance i am really concerned with here is the length from clamp center to the "imaginary center" that crosses between the end of the horns.
a littls ascii for fun:
..........y...........

_____x_____
i.e., the distance, in mm (or cm) of x-y, where x = stem clamp.
don't let me down, fast typers

You're looking for the reach?

yep. i was going to use the measurements of rider's whole arm length and elbow to wrist length combined with the reach of the bars to figure out front center geo and, ultimately, a good stem length for bullhorns, since i've never specifically built a bike for bullhorns and only bullhorns. not the way i like to do it, but if that's what she wants, that's what she gets.

I have RB18s on a different bike than the one I rode to work today. I can measure when I get home, if no one answers your question sooner.

thanks. it's bogus that no wholesale catalog or website (that i could find) mentions anything about reach for bullhorns. it's a valid dimension, people!

Yeah, depending on where exactly you're measuring from... 16-17cm.
