After weeks of no exercise (broken toe) I decided I'd had enough today, went and got air in my bike tires (older trek 820 mb), grabbed a computer from my LBS and went riding. In flip flops (not advised!).
1 hour 5 mins, 14.6 miles, two bridges. The tradeoff to riding downwind for the second half was riding upwind on my first two bridges. It's amazing how much determination a person can develop in your lowest gear giving everything not to have to walk that bike.
I feel good, my ass hurts, but thats to be expected. I dont think I'll push it that hard tomorrow.......
so 230lbs and counting!
