Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I went with white wrap...
(the confusing lines caused by the other picture subjects were intended to be "artsy" --but it went horribly wrong).
That's the next project behind it --restoring an old Mel Pinto Tandem.
More shots. (I know the GPS looks a little oversized for bike handlebars. ..maybe it matches my prostate)

Looks very good. Are they Continentials you're running on it?
David, fine job. I wish I had the know-how too do something like that, it's beautiful.

The white wrap works. Another option that I think would look good is natural cork. Maybe even with shellac to make it look more yellowish. That is a nice looking bike. I bet it rides very comfortably with the 853 steel frame. I was going to rag you about the pogo post, but you mentioned your prostate, so I guess you have a need for extra cushioning.

I wouldn't have thought of white, but it works.
