The daughter's been in El Segundo for two weeks now. She's loving life !!!!!!
The internship is going great and she loves the weather. But the best thing is.....
she has purchased a bicycle from a national Big Box Retailer and has survived two
whole weeks without either her car or her motorcycle (they're still back here at home). She reports that the mass transit is so much better than what we have back home and between the busses, light rail and bike freindly weather she's able to easily get to where-ever she wants to be. Who ever would have thunk it would happen, a 21 year old
thrill seeker going car-free.
It's a six month assignment....here's hoping this phenomenon lasts. :) :)
