A good Rusty Nail is my favorite mixed drink, apart from that I just stick with Jose Quervo. It may not be the greatest tequila, but for a students budget it isn't bad.

tough call. We really like our wine.
Depending on our mood. But, serving something special it likely would be either Armagnac or Calvados.
Right now I will say Armagnac. It's lighter than Cognac.

My favorite would have to be Glennfiddich 30 year old. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM that is a tasty beverage. I don't drink it all that often due to the cost but boy do I enjoy it when I do.

Not to be a stickler, but either I'm way out of the loop and Sierra Nevada recently introduced an IPA, or you're mistaken in referring to Sierra Nevada's green-labled Pale Ale as an "IPA". I actually hope it's the former, because I love IPA's and I love Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, so if they are actually making an IPA now my day has just been made!
My favorite beverage is also IPA (obviously), current faves being Brooklyn, Harpoon, Stone, or Red Hook (probably in that order). But I'm also a huge fan of Stone's Arrogant Bastard Ale; if I'm only going to drink one or two, that trumps all.
Recently got turned on to an ultra-dry/ultra-dirty vodka martini made with Belvediere and anchovy-stuffed olives. I think I could happily drink myself into a coma with those.

You might be right, I often screw up on the pale ale /IPA distinction. I've had all the ones you listed in the middle section, not a huge fan of Brooklyn, and stone has a bunch of different style pale ales, some I love, some not so much. But Red Hook and Harpoon are great. Flying Dog also has a great pale ale, although it's IPA is meh at best.

Winter/Fall:
Laphroaig 15yr single malt Scotch (gotta love that peatiness!)
Jameson's 18yr single malt Irish
Maker's Mark or Knob Creek
Traditional martini (extra dry, olives), Bombay Sapphire gin
Spring/Summer:
Traditional martinii as above, but with Hendrick's gin (unbelievably wonderful stuff)
Gin and tonic (best- Bombay and Schewppes- there is a difference in tonic water!)
Traditional margaritas, with salt, although frozens are tasty too
Anytime:
I love exploring small-batch breweries, as well as Belgian ales (Chimays when I can afford 'em). And wine- definitely wine, and especially ports.
I like what I call the AND drinks
Crown & 7-up
Rum & Coke
Gin & Tonic
Jaeger bombs!

Beer - I'm a stout fan. We actually have some good local beers. Empyrean Ales have a couple I enjoy..Oatmeal stout is really good, and so is their Sweet Stout. I think it's going to be an early day today, there is booze to be consumed.
B&B, Grand Marnier, Amaretto, Anisette, and Sambuca in mix with coffee or straight up.
Good wine with dinner.
Oh yes. Pints of Guiness in any month that has an R and it must be on tap!

Rye and anything...BUT I have found a beer I love.
les trois pistal is by a french company that has a whole line of beers. UNBELIEVABLY good and strong. If anyone has a chance try it, the body on these beers (including the one I mentioned) is unreal.
Currently, probably Stone Ruination IPA.

In Quebec, I had this martinii. I think they called it "tantratini" or something of that nature. It was grapefruity. That was amazing.
Still though, a nice red wine is hard to beat.
What, no vodka fans? Nothing beats a nice vodka, mixed with some fruit juice so you can still taste the vodka. Luksusowa is a great everyday vodka. Everyone thinks it costs twice what it does when they taste it. I'm going to get some Chopin, Pravda, and a few others and figure out what's my favorite of the higher priced stuff.

Vodka is ok, I would drink it but I don't order it. Due to the fact you are drinking fruit juice with unflavoured alcohol in it, you might as well say you like cranberry juice as your drink, I don't find vodka does much to the overal taste.
Kind of like tofu.
Yeah, but a bad vodka tastes nasty. A good vodka is much better than the cheap crap you'd mix with koolaid in a garbage can in undergrad.

Have you ever had decent vodka? to really appreciate it, you shouldn't mix it.
Cough medicine. Preferably vicks. Gotta get the good kind y'know. My advanced taste can't stand safeway brand.
