Foo - Who thinks they were born in the wrong decade?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Similar to Tom's but I ain't smart enough to know what happened in other centuries. ;) So what decade would you rather have been born in? Personally, I am happy that i was born in the 60's. And really can't think of a better time. You?

I would have been a 70's kid. Born in the 70s I relate better to the decade than the 80's (puke)...OR...born in the 80's living in the 90's.
Ideally, mid 50's than I could have lived like a hippy (i dig the music too), partied like a rocker in the 70's (yehaw birth of heavy metal) and worked in the 80's (why would I want to socialize in that decade again, god the hair and the pants...) and 90's (too old to appreciate grunge, but it would have touched my rock filled heart imo). Yep thats my final decision.

I think being part of the beat scene in the late 40's would have been pretty cool
Nah, I just wish I could go back 20 years and live my life again. Then again, who doesn't.

Not me, honestly, I hold no regrets. Besides parts of my life sucked enough to not want to relive again. They helped make me who I am, I appreciate that, but I still don't like the time period haha

If I could somehow emotionally still be who I am, carry my "soul" back with me, in its current state, without remembering most of the details, I'd still do it.

Wish I'd been born in 1900, then I could've retired and moved to California in 1960 before it got too weird. (and expensive)

Wrong time, nope.
Wrong dimension, yes.
