His calves still look like they can drop the hammer any day.

hairy legs too.
There's no hair on his legs, that's the graininess of the pic colors. I have no idea why but he said in an interview that he's going to shave his legs for the rest of his life.

Excuse me, but the correct term is "drope the hammer".

in the pic above he looks like a normal guy! At the end of the TdF - in his podium shots his face looks so drawn!!

True.
Just saying it's more normal [after 3 weeks of 100+ miles a day on top of 6+ months of hard focused training/juicing] than amazing.

I saw a pic of him running with his shirt off some months after he returned to "normal" life. He looked really buff. So was he workin out with weights to make his upper body look like that? Or is this just what happens when he stops doing tour type training?
I can't seem to find the photo, but it made him look so unlike a cyclist in that he actually had an upper body.

He looks like an ad for Nike/livestrong. The image is meant to reflect his everyday look for a highly competitive, insatiably driven "normal" guy with a multi-million dollar bank account.
Definitely my kind of guy:D

nah it's the no socks look. see there are actually socks underneath, just really low. if he is really not wearing socks however then i give him a -1. sweaty feet are not comfortable.
Just hangin out with other rich cyclists. . ?
Sounds lonely.
