I just got back from an awesome ride. I completed 27 Miles in 2 hours with over 1800’ of climbing. This was set up as an endurance ride so I took it pretty easy. I only have about 2 mins of heavy breathing and my HR did not go nuts. In early April I could not go half a mile without breathing hard and my HR spiking.

Ok I just have to jump for joy. 15 years on a couch , now I am 11 weeks into cycling and 8 weeks into formal training with a coach. I know it is not possible for everyone to get a coach but it has helped me stay very structured so that I contine to make gains. I am dropping fat like crazy and getting into shape. Cycling is saving my life and it is SO much fun.\

The only bummer will be that in a couple more months I might not qualify as a Clyde anymore. :(

Thanks for listening!

Mark

Well done Mark. It is not the coach that is doing the work.
