Cycle Across Maryland: July 12-15, 2007

This year it is on the Eastern Shore of Maryland again, same place as last year. One Less Car (http://www.onelesscar.org) puts on a great multiday event and they have new leadership this year. Anyone considering going I would suggested the following:
- Register early
- Opt for the Meal Plan (all you can eat for $40!)
- Stay in the dorms, campers got VERY wet last year from the afternoon storms

[The Human Car]

I camped and I was fine last year, I just did not camp in the drainage area that is closest to the mess hall and I have a good tent (now we know that’s not a good place to camp. :o ) If you are not sure about how water proof your tent is leave your stuff in the car during the day and if your tent is too wet you can sleep in the gymnasium. Just so people know that there are options.
