That's cool. I got my wife a trek mtb a few years ago, but it has the straight top tube. I wish I could have found a frame like that for her. She has an old Schwinn Suburban with a drop top tube that she rides the most. Your wife will enjoy that bike.

Wait till they start to hurry you up old man, it'll still be enjoyable.
The DB is very similar to the DB I bought my wife in a rigid for the same purpose, complaining of a sore lower back after every ride I ended up installing a flatter stem and flat bars to lower the grips nearly three inches to be level with her hips and she has enjoyed riding it ever since.
Just something to keep an eye on with these cruzy type bikes, setup principles still apply.

it is a wonderful ride so far :D
...take a close look at replacing that saddle. Most of the time "Women's" bikes come with saddles that are too narrow, poorly shaped, or otherwise just wrong for the female anatomy (particularly a woman who has borne children.)
The saddle should be wide enough and firm enough that her weight is carried on her ischia (the "sit bones") and NOT on the tissues in between. Having the right saddle made a ton of difference in my wife's willingness and ability to take long rides with me.

My wife is looking for a bike and having a hard time of it. She started off wanting to buy a cruiser style but I'm slowly convincing her that an upright style mountina bike or 700c bike will be better for her in the long run. How much did that bike cost if you don't mind me asking?
