What's the best tail light to clip onto your bag?

I've got a Timbuktu (I'm no messenger, I ride to school and everywhere I go though), and the first tail light I had lasted one city ride, it exploded and I threw it away, the second one had a clip, but it wasn't big enough to make it all the way around the light strap, it fell off at some point in school and I never found it. (also it was bulky and didn't fit in the nice front pockets

So what's a light that stays firmly attached to your bag or fits in the front pockets and is cheap?

that style of lights are the bestest, I have similar ones in red and white and I looped them around my rear hub

i had to wrap my light loop with duct tape so my light would stay on. the webbing by itself wasn't enough.

Any****, I don't even have reflectors so I can't advise on the lights that I think we might be talking about.

Planet Bike Blinky Superflash mounted on the seatpost. It's pretty small, and pretty bright.

late at night drunks will probably think your an alien visitor or something and won't come near you.

on a recent trip across PA (we rode a lot at night) i got lots of room from people when i with that thing on.

the "flash" is so bright it eventually annoyed the hell out of everyone i was with when i wasn't in the back (it can also be set to normal blink).

it is bright, annoying, and it will get peoples attention! i wouldn't want to stare at one for hours, that is for sure. :D

I really like the Blackburn Mars 3 (http://penncyclebuy.stores.yahoo.net/blma3tali.html). It's super bright, and light shines from three sides at the same intensity, so it's fine on the bottom of a bag.

Those cat eye things are cool, but not that bright or unidirectional. I'd strap one of those to a seat post before putting it on a bag...
