red house

Today I was determined to take advantage of the very reasonable weather outside and see if I could run from my house to my work - which is 3 miles exactly. Unfortunately however I only made it to the 1 mile mark before I needed to take a break - and then I had to stop to take one more break before finally making it to my workplace.. I just wasn't feelin it.
Tonight I decided to have another go at it.. I ran and ran and ran like I was Forrest Gump or something, - and managed to cover a distance of 3.15 miles - in under 30 minutes. I'm not sure 'exactly' how long it took since I forgot to check my stop watch once I stopped, but it was a little over 30 minutes when I finally remembered to look at it - so that's how I know. :D
Anyways that was my 'goal'; 5 kilometres. Now I need another benchmark - but I'll probably take it easy for a couple days.
Anyways I thought I'd share. :)
