I'm Loke, and I love bikes!
I built my first road bike when I was 17, road it for 7 years until it was finally stolen - unfortunately, that's par for the course in Chicago. My brother than gave me his Schwinn LeTour, which was stolen after 2 years of riding. From then on out it was Cheap Thrift-store bikes that nobody wanted - including a 1936 "Armstrong" that I found at a Salvation Army for $20. Than one day I decided I wanted to go fast again - I found a 1986 Bianchi on Ebay for $90! Now my ride to work is only 30 minutes and I'm loving it!
This forum is exactly what I've been looking for. A bunch of people who love their bikes as much as biking. Glad to be here!
