fwiw, i am not one to hate but i wasn't too thrilled by the work they did on my frame. i've heard good and bad from others who went to them. turnaround time and price were excellent though.

honestly, dude -- prep the bike yourself and paint it yourself!!

a good prep and paint job will look just as good as a powdercoat, and touchups will be easier to take care of down the road. Krylon makes a cool Plastic paint that adheres real nicely to bike frames, so a few coats of that and two clears should suit you well enough.

I wonder where Coast (http://www.coastouttabrooklyn.com/about.shtml) gets his painted? You can also try automotive paint shops. You can sometimes get a great paint job for almost nothing, assuming you don't mind the colour of the car they are painting that day.

do a search of after this nap, he had a small list of painter when we had a group podwer coat thing.

chelesa bikes, track star, cuevas, motorcycle painters.
